Chris Bright directs the real estate activities at Bright Realty. He began his career with STM Mortgage Company, where he supervised STM's real estate construction lending operations as well as its commercial loan placement and underwriting. He was also with Bright Management as VP of Operations.
Mr. Bright serves on the boards of State Bank & Trust, Bright Industries, Bright Realty and American Legend Homes. His civic activities include serving on the boards of directors of the University of Dallas, A Weekend to Wipe Out Cancer, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas and the McKinney Avenue Trolley Association. He graduated from the University of Dallas with a B.A in 1978.
Clay Bright is a principal at Bright Realty and Bright & Co., and serves as current chairman of State Bank & Trust. Mr Bright also serves on the board of Bright Industries and American Legend Homes. He received his B.S. from Texas A&M University in 1979, and has worked for the Bright family interests since that time.
His civic activities include serving in the boards of the Easterwood Foundation and The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University, and he had been actively involved in Boy Scouts of America.

Eric Stanley began his real estate career in 1981 managing his family's real estate development business. He originally joined Bright Realty in 1986 in a management position overseeing Bright Realty's multiple real estate investments. In 1989, Mr. Stanley joined the Trammel Crow Company in a senior management position responsible for the 1.5 million square foot-plus Bank of Oklahoma high-rise tower. From 1996 to 2004, he managed an Austin commercial development company, directing the development, management and sales of more than one million square feet of class A office, commercial and retail shopping space and $10 million-plus in lease transactions. He returned to Bright Realty in 2004 where he has since overseen the development, leasing and management of a number of retail, mixed-use, office and multi-family projects involving millions of square feet, as well as hundreds of land transactions related to single-family lots and commercial properties.
Mr. Stanley is past president elect of Tulsa's Institution of Real Estate Management organization (IREM) and vice president of Tulsa's Building Owners and Management Association organization (BOMA). He has held an Institute of Real Estate Management's Certified Property Manager designation since 1993 and is a licensed Texas and Oklahoma real estate broker.
Mr. Stanley is married with three grown children and resides in Castle Hills. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his family.
David Thomasson has been part of the Bright Realty team since 2002. He joined the company as senior accountant and also held the title of chief accounting officer. In his current role as chief financial officer, he is responsible for long-term financial planning, reporting and analysis and maintaining relationships with lenders.
Prior to joining Bright Realty, Mr. Thomasson served as controller for Blue Star Investments where he created accounting procedures and financial reporting programs for large multi-family properties and managed construction reporting and compliance for HUD loans. He transitioned multi-family accounting from third party management to owner management for 2000+ apartment units, established accounting policies and internal controls for out of town multi-family properties and spent time living on-site at Riata in Austin, TX to understand full operations of a large multi-family community. He has also served in a payroll management position with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club and as staff accountant for Lifecare International.
Mr. Thomasson is a member of the Dallas Fort Worth Area Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma. A Dallas native, Mr. Thomasson is an active volunteer with the Caring Hearts program at Baylor Hospital and also enjoys golf and classic car maintenance and restoration.
Mr. Patterson has been involved in retail leasing and development for nearly 15 years, having started his career in 2002 after receiving his masters in business administration with a concentration in real estate finance from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas in Austin.
Prior to joining Bright Realty in 2011, Mr. Patterson worked with Lincoln Property Company for six years, leasing and managing over 2.5 million square feet of Lincoln Property Company developments and third party accounts including the Shops at the Galleria, a 500,000 square foot power center in southwest Austin, and the re-development of Northcross Mall in central Austin, with Wal-Mart as the new anchor. Mr. Patterson is also a licensed Texas Real Estate agent.
Mr. Patterson is married with three school-age children. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his children's activities, golf and University of Texas sporting events.
Britton has more than ten years of commercial real estate experience in Texas, Oklahoma and North Carolina. Prior to joining the Bright team in 2011, Britton worked for Century 21 Commercial in retail project leasing, managing 13 agents and handling retail tenant representation. Prior to Century 21 Commercial, he worked at Cross Development, overseeing all aspects of Wal-Mart Super Center shadowed retail projects with site selection and leasing for over 4 years.
The majority of his retail brokerage consists of Third Party Retail leasing and retail tenant representation. Landlords he has worked with include Glenborough, Greenway Investments. Meridian Bank, State Bank and Trust, CME Development, Thompson National Properties, Eagle Equity, Mark R. Smith Co, Cawley Partners, Windmill Development, Victory Group, RTG Capital and more. Currently he is leasing high profile developments such as the mixed use development The Realm at Castle Hills, and Stonebriar Commons in Frisco. His tenant representation work includes clients such as RaceTrac, WingStop, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, Papa Murphy Pizza, Long Prairie Dental, II Brothers Grill & Bar, Spirit Halloween, Soul Fire Pizza, and more. For the past six years, Britton has focused on new construction retail in high income communities that cater to national retail and medical tenants. Currently he is overseeing 1.2 Million sf or commercial property for lease and 785 acres for sale for future commercial development.
Lankford is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Texas, a member of North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He was born and raised in North Texas and has lived in Plano since 2002 with his wife and two boys. He graduated from The University of Texas.
Paul Harmon has joined the Bright Realty commercial real estate team as vice president. He brings with him more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience in Texas.
Paul began his commercial real estate career with Henry S. Miller Commercial in the land division under the direction of Robert Grunnah and Ray Utley. Land sales he brokered there included multi-family tracts, single-family development tracts and a large retail assembly in Denton for Hunt Properties, now known as Denton Crossing.
Paul also worked for Retail Street Advisors focusing on project leasing and tenant representation. Landlord clients included Behringer Harvard, Hermansen Land Development and Whitestone REIT. His tenant representation work includes such well-known clients as Coal Vines Bistro, Rusty Taco, Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt, and Rocket Fizz.
