The Bright Realty team is returning to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Texas Conference and Deal Making event in Dallas November 8 through 10. The event, which will take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, brings together potential retail partners from across the state, giving them the opportunity to share information about the areaÂ’s most exciting retail projects.

“This year’s most talked about properties are along the State Highway 121 Corridor,” said Lucas Patterson, Bright Realty executive vice president. “We anticipate a lot of activity at our booth as we have a significant number of opportunities in that area.”

Bright Realty properties getting attention in the area include The Realm at Castle Hills, the Castle Hills Village Shops and pad sites at the intersection of Josey and Windhaven. The Realm at Castle Hills is a 1.4 million-square-foot mixed-used project with retail, office and restaurant opportunities, as well as more than 4,000 luxury multi-family units at Discovery at The Realm. The popular Castle Hills Village Shops continues to grow, with Phase 5 offering 5,206-square-feet of available space. The Village Shops recently signed a craft brewery, TKO Libations, to its neighborhood location to complement its existing restaurants, as well as onsite townhomes and condominiums, which provide additional activity to retail tenants.

Bright Realty is also offering pad sites on the southeast corner of Josey and Windhaven. The corner features two available lots totaling more than 100,000-square-feet on the ALDI-anchored site. ALDI is currently under construction and will deliver in 2018, joining Dream Wash Auto Spa, Caliber Collision, Honest-1 Auto Care and CubeSmart Self-Storage.

In addition, Bright Realty recently broke ground on a 6,600-square-foot shopping center in Burleson. The retail site, near the corner of Hwy 174 and FM 731, will be developed as Elk Crossing and will have a 2,200-square-foot R Taco with a patio. Just over 4,400-square-feet, including an endcap with a drive-thru opportunity, is still available for lease. The intersection is high-traffic and is anchored by a Kroger and a Premiere Cinemas movie theater, with an HEB, Home Depot and Target across the street.
