Castle Hills Spring Concert Series was a huge community success, underscoring the value Bright Realty places on funding free events that build community. The Saturday night concerts, on May 13 and June 10, drew large crowds to the Village Shops, exposing retail and restaurant tenants to potential customers, reinforcing the Village Shops as the heart of Castle Hills and exemplifying again Bright Realtys commitment to community.
The concerts Big City Outlaws country rock show in May and The Boy Band Nights boy band tribute in June drew hundreds of friends and neighbors to the shops. The concerts also included a long list of family-friendly pre-show activities surrounding the music performances: bounce houses, carnival games and prizes, a black light photo booth and more.
Bright Realtys commitment to creating a sense of community is evident at these neighborhood events. They become annual traditions for families, opportunities to see your neighbors and to make new friends, said Eric Stanley, president and COO. They are also a great chance for us to promote the Village Shops retailers, as guests are encouraged to arrive early for events to have dinner at one of the neighborhood restaurants or drinks on one of the restaurant patios. The events also expose potential home buyers to the community as many people attending are first time visitors to Castle Hills.
While Bright Realty funds the bulk of the costs for the concerts, local businesses have also been eager for the opportunity to serve as event sponsors. This years concert series underwriters are all repeat sponsors: Kroger and Grande Communications have served as sponsors since the series inception three years ago; the City of Lewisville has served as overall event sponsor for the last two years; and Krieger Orthodontics & Smile Design is also a two-year sponsor.
In addition to the Castle Hills Concert Series, Bright Realty plans annual holiday-themed community events throughout the year at the Village Shops including the July 4th Freedom Fest, in its 19th year, the Holiday in the Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting and the Fall Festival. Additional family-friendly events are also scheduled, such as classic car and truck shows, art & wine walks, and marionette shows among others. The events bring increased foot traffic to the shops throughout the year and are posted and chronicled on Castle Hills Village Shops website.
We see these events as an investment in our community, added Stanley. They benefit our current residents, showcase the community to potential home buyers and bring customers to our Village Shops tenants.
