Bright Realtys Crown Centre Corporate Campus was submitted by the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce through the city of Lewisville as a potential site for Amazons new second headquarters. The Castle Hills-planned multi-building office park is one of a handful of North Texas locations that local municipalities are offering as a setting for the Seattle-based companys second headquarters.
Crown Centre, located along State Highway 121 and FM 544, offers up to 3 million square feet of Class A, build-to-suit space. The midrise corporate campus will include structured parking, outdoor seating areas, a formal lawn and pecan grove, as well as a bocce ball court. Its 150-plus acres will feature a significant lake and water feature, which are currently under construction. Within a three-mile radius of Crown Centre are currently more than 119 restaurants, 92 retail stores and 13 fitness centers.
Plano and Frisco are becoming limited in what they can offer in the way of attractive office space, said Eric Stanley, president and COO. Crown Centre appeals to corporate relos looking for the desirable work-live-play setting, with its proximity to DFW Airport, as well as entertainment destinations like Legacy West. The Lewisville area along State Highway 121 has emerged as an important player in Class A office space, as already proven by Toyotas new headquarters just five miles east.
Steve Browns Dallas Morning News article about Crown Centre as a possible Amazon headquarters focused heavily on the success of Bright Realtys Castle Hills community, calling it one of North Texas' most successful new communities. More than 12,000 people now live in Castle Hills, where homes start in the $170s and range to over $2.5 million. Bright Realtys projects in Castle Hills also include a luxury multi-family development, The Lakes at Castle Hills private country club and golf course, and the popular Castle Hills Village Shops, home to several one-of-a-kind restaurants and a popular new craft brewery, TKO Libations.
Bright Realty has always been a strong partner with the city of Lewisville, said Stanley, so we are pleased to work with them toward this goal of attracting a major employer to the area.
