Bright Realty team members celebrated the 2017 Christmas season by supporting Denton County Friends of the Family. The Denton-based organization provides compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence, while partnering with the community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice and prevention.
Bright Realty and its affiliates within Bright Industries pulled together to provide gifts for the children being served by the Denton County organization. Bright Realty provided gifts for 110 children. Each child received two outfits and three gifts that were delivered to the organization December 4. Clothing items under the Christmas tree included jackets, scarfs, socks, boots and jeans. Toys included Hot Wheels cars, remote control cars, LEGOs, art supplies and educational items such as LeapFrog systems and books.
"The gifts provided through adopt-a-family help children impacted by domestic violence. It's more than a doll, puzzle or action figure. It's an investment in empowerment for the family. It's an investment in safety, hope, healing, justice and prevention for victims of sexual and domestic violence. Thank you for making an impact right here in our community," said Randi Skinner, director of marketing & development for Denton County Friends of the Family.
"It was important for us to help families in our community," said Eric Stanley, Bright Realty president & COO. "I'm so impressed by the generosity of our teams. I know they made a huge difference in those children's lives on Christmas morning."
Bright Realty is committed to serving its community and has been an active supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Independence Elementary PTA, the City of Lewisville's Western Days Festival, CREW Dallas, Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, Buckner Children's Home and more.
