The annual Castle Hills Fourth of July Freedom Festival was all about family fun with lots of kids activities, music, food trucks, one of the best fireworks shows in the area, and perhaps even more importantly, community. This years Freedom Festival, sponsored annually by Bright Realty, took place Monday, July 4th, at the Castle Hills Village Shops.
Events like the July 4th Freedom Festival create a sense of community here in Castle Hills. They also serve as a vehicle to draw business to our Village Shops property and potential home buyers to the neighborhood, said Eric Stanley, Bright Realty President and COO. In addition to holiday festivals like the July 4th event, Bright Realty sponsors several events throughout the year in the Plaza.
The Castle Hills Village Shops offers the perfect setting for events year-round with tree-shaded walkways, gardens and numerous water features, including the very popular interactive water fountain, a permanent stage and shaded outdoor seating. The shores of Lake Avalon also provided the perfect spot for viewing the fireworks.
Castle Hills provides an environment for living, playing, working, shopping and dining. The Village Shops and our developer-sponsored events mean not having to leave the neighborhood for entertainment. They allow neighbors to get to know each other and become friends. And they are also good for Village Shops tenants and home builders in the community, Stanley.
Activities at this years Freedom Fest included a euro bungee, a water slide, two mobile gaming units, a giant inflatable obstacle course, bounce houses, carnival games and prizes, as well as face painters, balloon artists, and arts & crafts by Village Shops tenant The Enchanted Artist. Several of the areas favorite food trucks were also onsite. The fireworks show topped off the evening in a grand finale.
