Bright Realty is bringing back the annual Fall Festival, an event that has become a family tradition for many, to the Castle Hills Village Shops on Saturday, October 20, 5 - 8 p.m. The free event offers fall-themed, family-friendly activities for the whole family and is expected to draw more than 2,000 guests to Bright Realty's Village Shops in the master-planned Castle Hills community in Lewisville.
This year's festival will feature bounce houses, carnival games, face painters, a balloon artist, a trackless train, costume trunks and photo booths, giveaways, fall arts & crafts hosted by Village Shops tenant Design Time art studio, and more. Pumpkins will be available to purchase and decorate for $5 from the pumpkin patch, with proceeds benefiting the Hebron High School Choir. Take-out concessions will be available for purchase from several Village Shops retailer locations as well as a popular local food truck.
"Bright Realty's commitment to Castle Hills is evident at these neighborhood events," said Eric Stanley, president and COO. "They provide enormous exposure for our Village Shops' tenants as many attendees come early or stay late to enjoy dinner or drinks at one of the Village Shops' restaurants. They draw potential residents to the community as many event guests are first time visitors to Castle Hills. While they may be aware of single-family opportunities, many learn about our multi-family and rental cottage communities for the first time. And, just as important, they preserve the sense of community we have created here."
Bright Realty funds most of the cost for the Village Shops' events but also partners with local businesses and the city to sponsor events at the retail destination throughout the year. This year, Village Shops' events are presented by the City of Lewisville, in partnership with Castle Hills developer Bright Realty and Platinum Sponsor Vector Security.
The Castle Hills Village Shops is home to many notable restaurants and eateries. Kitchen is known for both its street and "posh" tacos; Kanzi Sushi & Hibachi serves a variety of fresh sushi options; Z's Wok is popular for its Chinese specialties; and Sophia's Kitchen specializes in seasonal coffees, teas and pastries. Two new restaurants will be joining the Village Shops' list of retailers soon: Ramen, Izakaya Akira will feature ramen, sake and other Japanese dishes; and The Grind, "a world class neighborhood burger joint," will serve craft burgers and beer.
